November 11 through November 20 saw Bill Forchion, Sara Deull, and Keith
Kaplin take part in Stage 2 of the U.S. State Departments Cultural
Exchange in the Arts (Circus) to Turkmenistan. The three circus experts
facilitated workshops in Physical theater, Aerials, Juggling, Balance
skills and Acrobatics at the Turkmenistan Institute of Culture, Circus
Department and Turkmenistan State Circus. The three also gave
presentations at the U.S. Embassy American Corners in Dashoguz,
Turkmenabad and Mary. Forchion, Deull, and Kaplin made presentations at
Specialized Art schools in Turkmenabad and Dashoguz and were honored
with performances by Students and Professors of the schools. Stage 1 of the U.S. - Turkmenistan Cultural Exchange took place May 28 - June 6, 2017 and included Bill Forchion, Sara Deull and Billy Higgins. Link to the U.S. Embassy page.
Awkward Bill (Bill Forchion) will be the Ringmaster for two performances Saturday May 13, 2017 2pm & 4pm at the Lawn on D in Boston, MA. The circus fun performances will include a cast of acrobats and jugglers from Vermont's Nimble Arts troupe. It destined to be good fun on the Lawn on D.

The poem "Black Friday" by Bill Forchion will be on display at the Washington County Youth Services Bureau 38 Elm St, Montpelier, VT throughout the month of April. The work is on display as a part of the Poem City Montpelier 2015 celebration. The celebration features the works of many poets young and old on display at venues around Montpelier. Bill will make his operatic debut in Tosca. Tosca will be performed May 30 & June 1 at the Latchis theater in Brattleboro, VT and June 5 at the Academy of Music in Northampton, MA. This production of Tosca will be performed with the Wiindham Orchestra under the masterful conducting of Hugh Keelan. Bill will be portraying the Jailer in Act 3.
