Bill Forchion was born and raised in Hammonton New Jersey. Mr. Forchion is a graduate of Hammonton High School, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and The American Institute of Holistic Theology. His performing career has taken him around the world performing with many acclaimed companies such as Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, The Pickle Family Circus and Cirque du Soleil. As an actor and stuntman Bill has been highlighted in numerous television and film productions with appearances in US. Marshals, Cradle to the Grave, the Polar Express as Elston Howard in the ESPN mini-series “The Bronx is burning” and as a Security Guard in the upcoming ABC Television show “Terminales”. As a collaborative filmmaker Bill has combined forces with musician Bethany Yeakle for his first short film “Angst” and acclaimed blues guitarist Scott Ainslie and fellow filmmakers Morgan Faust and Christopher Llewellyn Reed for his award winning short film “Trial by fire”. Bill also produced and directed “The Ride to Remember” a documentary about an annual charity motorcycle rally, through South Jersey, honoring public servants who have died in the line of duty and “Being Nimble” a documentary that follows 18 students at the New England Center for Circus Arts as they pursue their dream of being circus performers.“Darwin’s Dream” a short film collaboration with internationally acclaimed mime Mario Diamond was voted "Most Innovative" at the Orlando Urban Film Festival. In 2016 Bill published his first book "Billosophy: meditations on GOD, movement and miracles. Based on the writings of his book Bill produced "Billosophy: life ~ circus ~ death" which was directed by Peter Gould and premiered at the 2016 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. The spring of 2017 saw Bill serving as a Cultural Exchange Ambassador to Turkmenistan, for the U.S. State Dept. where he facilitated Circus workshops with the Turkmenistan Institute of Culture and Turkmen State Circus in Ashgabat. When he is not writing or editing or traveling the globe or producing film works in his Brattleboro, Vermont home/studio Bill teaches Acrobatics and Contortion at the New England Center for Circus Arts and he is dad to 3 beautiful children.
